Kudos to you for taking control over your health!! The first step is admitting that one has a problem, and you’ve already done step one! By the way, in case you’re looking for resources, there’s a group called Overeaters Anonymous. I know there’s several groups in the Dallas area. It’s basically a similar structure to AA, but for people with eating disorders. I had a friend go through their program and drop 50 lbs. Here’s a link in case you’d like to check them out. Best wishes on your new journey, friend!!!❤ https://oa.org/
I will follow your journey as a distant supporter and cheer you on!! Love your referenced bible verse. There’s always “that moment” that hit us like a tons of bricks at some point in our lives.
But how wonderful to know God is right there to lead us every step of the way!
Beautifully written. Thank you for sharing. Stay strong, prayers sent!!!
So proud of you Bear. And I have dealt with my own health scare and truly relate in a very personal way. Praying for God to keep showing you the way and know me and your family and other brothers and sisters in Christ are cheering you on. It’s all about choice every day I pray to have God help make each choice the best one . Okay to take one step at a time. You will amazed what doors open as you let God in for even the small choices and celebrate each small goal. Don’t think in terms of oh my loose 100 pounds in a year. So humbled you are willing to share your story with us hugs
